How we use your information

When you enquire about a team or register your child with Partington and Carrington FC, we collect some personal information. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights.
Who is responsible. Partington and Carrington FC is responsible for your information (the "data controller"). Our enquiry, registration and messaging run on software provided by Reasonbee Communications Ltd, who process the information on the club's behalf and operate our WhatsApp messaging channel.
What we collect
- About the player: their first name, and their school year / age group.
- About you (the parent or carer): your name, mobile number and email address.
- If you go on to register and pay: your subscription status and payment history.
What we do not store
If you set up payments, your bank details go straight to GoCardless, our payment provider, to arrange your Direct Debit. The club and Reasonbee never see or store your bank account number.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and offer a trial or a place on our waiting list.
- To register your child and place them in the right team.
- To contact you — including by WhatsApp, phone or email — about your enquiry, your child's team, and payments.
Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you (running your child's membership) and our legitimate interests (administering the club). Where we ask for your consent to contact you, you can withdraw it at any time.
Messaging you on WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to send you enquiry and team-related messages. The channel is set up and run for the club by Reasonbee Communications Ltd. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. You can ask us to stop messaging you at any time.
Who we share it with
- Reasonbee Communications Ltd — who run the club's registration and messaging software.
- GoCardless — if you set up Direct Debit payments.
- Service providers who help us run the system (hosting and messaging).
We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and waiting-list details for up to 12 months, and payment records for around 6 years (as the law requires). Other details are deleted or anonymised after your child leaves the club.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Contact us on Facebook or Instagram (linked from our home page). If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
